Animals of
the Bible
You're here » Kids Index - Animals of the Bible

"Every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains; and the wild beasts of the field are mine."- Psalms 50:10,11

God made the animals, as well as man, on the sixth day of creation. When he was finished, He said that man was to reign over all the animals, fish, and every living creature that He had made. God brought the animals to Adam, and whatever name that Adam gave each animal, that was to be it's name.

I hope you enjoy the story of each of these animals, and the Bible lesson for each one.
